Precisionscreen joins Australian Made

LEADING MANUFACTURER JOINS AUSTRALIAN MADE

Queensland business, Precisionscreen, joined the Australian Made Campaign (AMCL) this month, to help establish themselves as leaders in the marketplace.

Established in 1986, in Brisbane, Precisionscreen have been leading the way in the design and manufacture of mobile screening, washing, crushing and recycling equipment for the quarry, mining, extractive, materials handling and recycling industries. Precisionscreen equipment is found in more than 15 countries including the United States, Italy, the Philippines, Malaysia and Australia.

The company has taken a further step forward, becoming an AMCL licensee, with most of their Australian manufactured products now able to carry the famous Australian Made Australian Grown kangaroo logo.

“We know our customers are looking for Australian Made machinery that is manufactured locally and keeps Australian workers in jobs. The Australian Made logo is highly recognisable and will help us stand out from the crowd,” Prescionscreen’s General Manager, Paul Kerr, said.

“We work in a very competitive environment and one strong point of difference is that a large range of our products are Australian Made to suit Australian conditions. It makes sense for us to leverage that fact by using the Australian Made, Australian Grown logo,” Mr Kerr said.

Research* has shown that consumers have a clear preference for buying Australian-made and grown products. With recognition of the Australian Made, Australian Grown logo at an all-time high of 98%, it is the country-of-origin identifier Australian consumers know and trust best.

Australian Made Chief Executive, Ian Harrison, welcomed Precisionscreen as a licensee. “Australia’s reputation for producing products and produce to high quality and safety standards is driving sales in Australia, but we’re also seeing a huge impact overseas – opportunities for exporters are booming,” Mr Harrison said.

“No doubt, that’s what Precisionscreen is seeing for themselves with their ability to meet the needs of a diverse range of clients.

Mr Harrison says the quality and safety standards for production in Australia are some of the most stringent in the world and are part of the reason Australian manufacturers have earned themselves such stellar reputations.
